With all the excitement of our international move, which is coming up very shortly (yay UK here we come!) I’ve completely neglected to update my blog about the two most recent Woolly Mammoth Knits designs. The past two weeks have seen the release of Amalfi and Metamorphosis Shawl.
Amalfi is a cardigan worked seamlessly from the top down that comes with several options: the pattern includes instructions for a short-sleeve and three-quarter length sleeve version, a solid color and a two tone version as well as two different type of raglan yokes. More details are on the pattern page here: Amalfi pattern page. The pattern can be purchased here on the Woolly Mammoth Knits website and on Ravelry for $6.50.
Metamorphosis Shawl is the companion piece to Metamorphosis Cardigan. The shawl is worked from the top and has the same stripe pattern as the cardigan. It’s also worked in a fingering weight yarn, but at a larger gauge to create a lighter and more airy fabric. I used Shibui Knits Staccato for this design and have fallen in love with the yarn! It’s super soft, bright and has a beautiful sheen. The pattern for Metamorphosis Shawl can be puchased for $4.99 on the Woolly Mammoth Knits website here: Metamorphosis Shawl and on Ravelry.
Here are some photos of the designs. This is Amalfi:

I hope you like them! Happy knitting everyone!
